I have tried RMS Espress this week, and I have not been able to make it work.

The program can be opened but when I select the session for Winlink winmor, the program exit without opening the TNC winmor program.

Have a look. I thing this program is more interesting and better maintained than Airmail.

Thanks
Sonia

I guess to make Winmor work we need a Linux implementation. You might try PSKMail instead which is also included. There is a few digital modem implementations which i did not test yet but might be worth a look.

http://openmor.sourceforge.net/

Let us know about your findings.
