The trick is not to get ahead of yourself. If you run xgps, or cgps, from the/another terminal what happens? Does cgps timeout and quit? Does xgps show anything except n/a?...particularly between the 'skyview' and the 'gps data' there is a 'response box' that give information on what's going on. |

You also have a gps that doesn't
Set it by a window and let it grind away for a bit. It might be something else, but the next test is time. |
