I do a lot of celestial navigation and have relied upon Nav console and celnav (opencpn celnav plugin).

But I also carry The Nautical Almanac in printed pdf form...just in case the electronics go bad (so far...so good). And sometimes it's nice just to do a sight reduction long hand. Rather than spending a pile of money on The Nautical Almanac every year I just download and print it from here- TheNauticalAlmanac.com
