If you are using Wine to run any Window$ applications, take David's advice in the
Airmail Grib Problem thread and upgrade Wine to version 1.6
I have an elderly e-mail client I have been using for years and carried over to linux via wine when I first made the switch from Window$. Seemed to run a little funky under Navigatrix 0.5 but it ran so I didn't worry. After reading the afore mentioned thread suggesting an upgrade to deal with rendering problems I went ahead and followed Davids instructions to upgrade to Wine 1.6
Code:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -y install wine
All the hangs and problems promptly disappeared!
Worth while 5 minutes... (Take note of the package size issue on a USB install as noted by Moe in the last post of the Airmail thread)
Tks Guys!
