Quick question(s) for those in the know...

1. Is ver 0.5 still based on an LTS release? (Trusty?)
2. Major changes that might conflict with import of old "home" directory ?

Have acquired a backup laptop as this one is on its last legs. Wondering whether to install existing 0.4 or the latest and greatest..

Opinions solicited TIA

Hello the other David,

I think it is, I run
Code:
 uname -a
it looks like this
Quote:
moe@moe-VirtualBox:~$ uname -a
Linux moe-VirtualBox 3.19.0-26-generic #28~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Aug 12 14:12:35 UTC 2015 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux

I can't think of any conflicts.

The big difference is everything is a little larger, and unless you don't demand much from your machine 256MB RAM is wrist slashing territory in my book.

Tks Moe... will probably just reload 0.4 although I have the new iso checksumed and everything

Dope slap  Assumed the same power adaptor as the old box (T-42) but noooooo. 20v vs 16 and different plug. Cost more to get the new adaptor shipped 2nd day than it did for the t-60 Should be here tomorrow and I can get underway again

Still on the East Coast. Got hung up a few places along the way... you know how it goes Movin' though... harder to hit a moving target

Aint technology fun?
