Hello,

I've been trying unsuccessfully to boot Navigatrix (latest .5 version) on a rather old CF18 toughbook (non-PAE cpu) running under XP.

I downloaded the ISO file and installed it successfully as a VM on a macbook, so it seems that the ISO itself is sound.

I then tried 1) to "burn" a USB stick under OSX (through hdiutil etc) or 2) to use the USB burner provided with Navigatrix in Windows 7. Both ways seem to work fine (no error, that is).

Then, I can boot the toughbook from the USB, and reach the first Navigatrix screens (<F1> Help etc), go to "other options" - but then whatever I choose results in a frozen computer that I have to force reboot. Only "return" works. Nothing happens - I press enter and the screen freezes.

Did anyone encounter this situation before ?

Thanks a lot !!

Robin

Answer to myself, after a lot of try-and-fail : the CF18 needed to be booted using the "old graphic card" option AND adding the forcepae option.
And it works like a charm !
